Capping your income for 35 years ?

Electricity rates will only go up in the future especially if regulations further restrict coal, NG and other fossil fuels. Solar and wind are additive sources now but in no way they can create sustainable base load power if that is all we are allowed to use.

Thorium reactors are the one technology that could substantially drive electric rates down but NIMBY folks won't allow them in the current environment. Might be different when society is asked to exist on a thin intermittent supply of power or once China and India prove the technology going forward.

I'd at least want some inflation factor or energy rate increases factored in over 35 years.

What will buried cables do to existing tile and possible drainage of surrounding properties ? What other restrictions and hidden clauses will be used to further control your use of the land?   I would not rely on some lease written by the panel company to protect your interests. At minimum you need to talk to others who have done this or a attorney with experience in maximizing and protecting your interests. What happens after 35 years and removal of equipment ? Liabilities etc ?
