St. Joseph, Champaign County, IL | The one 1200 acre solar farm proposed for this county, if built, is going to be fully pattern tiled BEFORE the panels are installed. Some of its already pattern tiled, and they’re going to make sure they don’t wreck what’s there when they drive the piles for the panels to be mounted on.
Edit: There’s existing district tile going through the proposed farm, and they’re going to replace that as well, before the panels are installed, so that they hopefully won’t have to do any work while the panels are installed. Should work have to be done while the solar farm is in operation, they say panels can be removed to let the work be done.
