Straw that broke the camels back is here. Tons of good pairs are rolling here. Between mud and no hay they are saying screw it.
Who's going to do this? Are we going to import all our meat? I will never get rid of all the cows just get down to where it's fun, there's a couple guys on here that come to mind, but I don't think a lot of young guys find this appealing anymore. Kind of scary really
I've been hearing that for a long time. But if a pasture came up for rent, there'd be 10 guys lined up wanting to rent it for a good price. If you say that isn't the case where you're at, post the location and your phone number and your phone will be ringing. Plenty of young guys willing to work if you give them the chance. If there weren't all the 50-60 year old midlife crisis guys running around thinking everything is theirs and nobody else is allowed to farm, and making it difficult for a young guy to be successful, it would make it much more appealing for a young guy. Right now our society is not willing to sacrifice the immediate dollar for the betterment of society.
