SC MN | I don't get to choose the time that the packer wants the pigs. There is no shortage of pigs so if I don't meet their demands, they will just get someone else's pigs.
Flexibility is great, but in my opinion a good swine production system requires some degree of consistency to obtain a level of production that makes me competitive with my competitors. My dad instilled this in me growing up.
Thanks for your input; I get what you're saying. My opinion is that other ag sectors enjoy more flexibility in getting things done. | |
