| No weekends? Sounds like they don’t know how good they have it. Do you get days off? Even the owner needs a day or two away every now and then to decompress.
As for employee time off, can you make them earn their time off? Every hour they put in goes towards their vacation and paid sick time. Paid sick time is when they have a doctor’s note, and unpaid for when they don’t have one. Spell out the limit on unpaid and the disciplinary actions that will happen if they exceed them. Do the same for lateness. It’s going to be a tough conversation to have, but you need consistency. | |
