SC MN | I haven't yet had kids used as an excuse for being late, interestingly. In response to most daycares requiring pickup at 4:00-4:30, I tried as hard as I can to get the employees out at an earlier time. I also thought that getting them out at 3:00 would allow them to schedule some appts, bank visits, etc. during business hours without missing work.
I haven't had much response to flexibility. They don't want to use a Saturday, for example, to complete extra work or get their hours in.
