I think Russia has tried to give us a black eye MANY times since WW2. They have indirectly killed or wounded many of our soldiers and we did the same to them. Both sides agitate each other. They aren't the threat they once were and act more important then they actually are. China is a much bigger threat. Just my opinion. I don't ever remember seeing "Made in Russia" on anything I have bought.
