This is a bit of a confusing thread. I have never had an unprofitable bumper crop regardless of prices (well, maybe wheat).
When I first responded I was envisioning a cruddy looking crop that had to be mudded in and out but yielded better than expected and was therefore profitable. Now we're talking about bumper crops that are unprofitable. I guess I don't get that.
