| After reading everyone’s replies it makes me glad we live in ky. We have never been weighed by the DOT. Had semis since ‘91. We run 10 during the fall and usually 4-5 all winter. Probably avg 90-100k year round. It’s hard for me to do any different when the same setup as we have (5 axles) is legal to haul 126,000 lbs of coal with just a $3-$400 permit. I guess that’s why we never get checked. | |
