Jp says he trades his own money. Being a broker doesnt keep one from reccomending trades/numbers or should I say support/res numbers on a forum.
Depends palm. How dangerously do you want to live, and how many scrupples do you have? If you have a position on, and talk that position, you are pumping the market, and in violation of your licensing. Technically, you have to put your clients in first, before you can enter. And you can get in a bunch of hot water if you don't use correct phrasing in your "recommedations", as you call it. If I had it my way, I'd call a spade a spade, but instead we have to use terms like likely/ or high probability, or probable to dilute the confidence level, and putting price projections out there is always playing with fire.
Why do you think so many brokerage firms do not allow the broker to trade in any way shape or form? Or why is it when you go to open an account as a licensed rep anywhere, you have to jump through endless hoops to open it?
Since it's no big deal, take the test, and join the party.
