I know a guy that built a log cabin in the Red Feather Lakes area N/NW of Fort Collins, Co and they drilled a water well for him that was around 1500 ft deep. Only yielded a half gallon per minute so he had a large holding tank in the basement and the well ran constantly or until the tank was full
