As others noted it seems wrong to have that trap below the outlet.
As davpal noted our washer in the basement pumps itself up to a drain from a shower and sink from 1st floor between the joists.
It does the pumping no need for another pump and it is closed off with the connection to the drain and that drain is properly vented past the shower.
It should be a simple job to put the cleanup back in place and connect to a drain above.
If you do not want to do a little cutting and gluing yourself get a properly trained plumber. | |
