Mid Michigan | Holy cow. You have your poo from your septic going right into the trap and totally exposed to the basement! You have to take that mess back off from there and put the cleanout plug back in and dump the washer water in higher up on the pipe. I would dump it into one of the higher up drains going in like the one that comes from the bathtub. I wouldn't even use a standpipe. I would just put a hose fitting in up higher on the tub drain and use a hose clamp to seal it off completely. But that whole standpipe you put in the sewer with the poop in it has to go. | |
