| I don't know what kind of cancer, but if she has some time before having to make the decision, I'd try a radical change in my diet, like giving up on processed food and dining out to go all vegan and organic. Nothing to lose at this stage, and it would make her learn a completely different way of cooking and preparing meals, which could be a welcome new activity as well. There's tons of vegetables and grains she probably never used before, lots of interesting things to learn. Hope she'll beat it.
