That's a hard one. My husband has an aunt (now in her early 90's) who was diagnosed with colon cancer about 12 years ago. She decided not to have any treatments; she is a strong Christian and said if God wants to heal her, He will; if He wants to take her to heaven it was fine with her. I am guessing it was within a year she was cancer-free. I think she might have taken vitamins but I'm not even sure about that. It's hard to lose a good friend. Wishing you and your mom the best!
