These were high school kids. Whether we like it or not, they have not had to grow up in a world where maturity develops at a pace that we are used too. What they are doing is absolutely wrong, but they have never had to deal with consequences of their actions, so the first time they do get faced with them, the mistakes should be fatal?
Maybe your landlords should jerk all your ground the very first time you make a mistake, and you don't have the absolute top yields in the area? I understand that there may have been a pattern developed, but what reasonable person doesn't approach law enforcement with their concerns to try to fix the problem well before it reaches this point? That's my point... Were the kids right? No. Was this guy even within the bounds of being reasonable? No. comparing a yeild screw up to breaking into someone house is a dumb comparison. The castle law states once your home is invaded you do not have to retreat. Deadly force is justified. The premeditated charges are wrong in every sense. What would you do if your home was invaded?
This happened here a year ago. http://fox2now.com/2013/04/24/possible-shooting-in-manchester-il-2-... |
