In my 32 years of farming I would have been just as well off without the "substantial"*** money I have received from coops. I believe the last 4 years from one of them I have not received any cash or any updates to the facilities I deal with. I really have no need to be taxed on my stock that I will never use until I die. One of the others I deal with, well I will just say it turns a profit but it could be a really big profit if it was ran correctly. The amount of waste within in it is simply amazing in my mind. But that is just how big business is I guess. To each their own, not a big fan of them here.
