Coops and their role in history and the advancement of society.  Coops evolved out of the need of producers to enhance the value in the sale of their goods via consolidation and control of products, as well as, pass on savings on purchases by the coop.   This allowed the evolution of the producers to become more integral into society and diminish the control of the ruling class.
