North Dakota | Farm in north central North Dakota. Have been trying for 3 years to initiate a small drainage project in our township. Had several meetings with us fish and wildlife. They always show up at meetings with pistols at their sides and smug F--- U attitude. They have stalled us for 3 years and this past winter sent out proposals to all absentee landowners along the proposed drainage route to buy the wetland acres. This is "our" government working for us. So you think they are better than working with states on these matters? Government by the people, for the people HAS perished from the earth. We no longer live in a democracy. Maybe never did. Guess it is truly an Oligarchy. Sad, very sad. | |
