HR 1462 is the house bill to eliminate the Mandate and ethanol. Half the sponsors are Republicans from Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri South Carolina, etc who represent the livestock and poultry industry. The Senate has a whole bunch like Tom Coldburn who believe that ethanol is just evil. Don't you believe it, they'd cut your throat in heartbeat.
