Breckinridge Co. , Kentucky | I would go with the Toyotas but that is just from my personal experience. Mom bought a new '84 camry and drove it till my sister got her license and took it for her road warior in the early 90's. Sis thought it was four wheel drive and perfect for field parties! Sold to a friend who drove it well into the 200's. Wife drives a '98 Avalon with 175 K and mom just bought 2005 Camry that is 4 cyl and gets 35 mpg. My work car is '96 Camry with 135 K and gets 32+. Tough little cars that usually need no maintenance other than brakes and replace belts at 150-180K. Just look at autotrader.com and see how many 200 K plus cars are out there. I drive 50 miles to work everyday and want something that will not leave me on the side of the road. Troy |
