| I have owned a Hyundai Sonota, Hyundai Avanti and a Daweoo Matiz when I was working in Korea. Great cars when there is a Korean mechanic within walking distance of your work location. Parts are inexpensive in Korea. At various times I observed cars pulling away from a traffic light leaving a trail of water. My Sonota quit running one day, the first thing the mechanic did was look in the radiator. One new head required, he explained, it is a problem with some Korean cars. It sort of sneaked up on me, I have never had a problem like that with Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Nissan, even Suzuki, in the past. I know the Korean cars are nice when they are new. | |
