Have three diesels all 2006 all in 40mph. but fear the same thing, repairs might be higher in company shops than ford or chevy. only down side is the smell of plastic in jetta and loved everything about my crown vic sport. so jury is out for a year or two. maybe just make a tow car out of vw and get a more fuel efficient crown vic in the future.
