Ok, how do we know it will get challenged in the courts? What more testing is sufficient to satisfy you or to satisfy people who have no scientific basis for their claims? Should we test everything for a century before releasing it? Two centuries, a hundred centuries??? Seems like we could test stuff forever and some people would still be opposed to it and are willing to use the courts to push their agendas. Why should the courts be the final arbitrator for something that is clearly beyond their realm of expertise when we have multiple govt agencies that are better equipped to handle such matters? I think a better question is why should farmers have their investment put at risk when the crop met all of the appropriate regulations at the time of planting?
