With the price of feed, you can't afford the shrink. I did the math and the concrete slab is a two year payback. I have also bagged all my feed before and that is way too expensive and I have just as much shrink on concrete as I do in the bagged feed on dirt. Moving silage from dirt to concrete in a drive over pile cut my shrink in half. Plus it was pretty low to start with.
