I would go with concrete, maybe go with 8" in high traffic areas. Concrete erodes from the acid and you seem to lose 1" in ten years. In hot temps loaders dig into asphalt but you probaly already know that. Skip the rebar, the problem with rebar in silage pad is acid from silage gets to it, it rusts and expands causing the concrete to crack more. Have your crew help, silage pads are an easy pour.
