Baldwin City, KS | I might have taken the post a little too personal. I do agree with most of what Jim is saying. However, I still don't know what to do different. I don't keep a cow around till she hardly a spark of life left in her. Still if a decent cow starts going to crap, am I not to make an attempt at treating her? If that doesn't work, am I to let her wither away or shoot her rather than sell her? I just don't know what to do here. I thought I was doing my job. It's rare that we really ever see anything worse than an eye problem with our cows, but if something happens, I see it as my responsibility to help out.
