provides about 6.46 tons per acre of corn in a ton of silage if i do the math correctly. Figure no ears no tonnage. That is not an exact amount because I didn't do a complete moisture change from 10% moisture to 65%. but I didn't add the cob to the tonnage. Maybe should have used 70#/ bu ear corn. So 15 bu corn is probaly .64 tons per acre. You really won't be removing as much fertility as what some think because of the much less tonnage.
