Subject: What to pay for drought corn for silage?

Saronville NE
Just had a neighbor leave the yard, wants to sell me an 80 of burned up dryland for silage, we went and walked from one end to the other and good corn in draws, but basically no ears at all in the rest, we walked pry 250 yards min without seeing a ear period. Were both kinda thinking $200 an acre, would get us at $30 a ton at 7 ton area, is this too much or not enuff for what it is? How do you price it when so variable thru a field, bought another allready, there is bsically no corn in it either, weve chopped some of it allready. But got nother field that has some good corn in it but then places with no ears period, so will it make 30 if we stay at 100 another 5 days?
