Some around here is being priced according to crop insurance apprasial. If it's appraised at 5 bu./ acre, then it's 5 X crop revenue price plus some value per acre for the fertilizer ( between $50 and 70 per acre is the numbers I'm hearing for the value of nutrients removed that would have stayed if not silaged). It doesn't seem like a lot to me but it's mostly between neighbors trying to help each other .
