Adams, NE | fwiw...that spread means little today in the demand for ethanol. We are at a ten percent blend because of the RFS. If gasoline demand increases, ethanol demand increases and vice versa. Ethanol at a discount to rbob is just an additional kicker to big oil (or the consumer if they pass it on) beyond the huge octane benefits that are managed thru the refinery/blending system.
Ethanol is far from done, contrary what the naysayers would like you to believe. | |
