Gridley IL | That picture brought back bad memories. I was on our local fire board. The firehouse had a basement under the trucks. I realize fire trucks weigh alot more, but after 30 years the trucks would settle into their parking spots when backed in. Then we startedto see cracks getting larger, basement had block walls 6' on center along with I beams. Long story short we voted to spend several hundred thousand to remove floor fill and compact sand re pour floor before trucks were in basement. | |
