Guymon, OK | A friend gave me his recipie for pizza dough, but I can't seem to find it right now. It's fantastic, though; not too thin, but not incredibly thick either. We use homade sauce, put on a layer of hamburger and Italian sausage, sprinkle some shredded cheese on that to bind it together, then add slices of pepperoni and Canadian bacon, throw some crumbled up regular bacon on top of that, add some chopped Anaheim peppers to make it healthy, then dump more cheese on top of everything. Use good mozzerella, too, not the dry pre-shredded stuff. Cook it on a pizza stone dusted with corn meal, and have an ambulance on standby for the inevitable heart attack. This pic is kind of old, and I think it's actually a chicken pizza, but the finished product looks pretty much the same regardless. It's not my stove, either. |
