Subject: In Minnesota a tile intake

Aberdeen MS
is classified as "waters of the state". It is a direct lead to the rivers. I will at this point assume fuel spill will be handled like manure.

Spreading manure on frozen ground? 300' buffer around any tile intake in that field. If incorporated within 24 hours you can go right to the intake.

Drainage ditches also need a 300' buffer of no application.

If you have a tile intake within 300' of a feed lot operation, actually a pen of livestock really, need to protect the 300' buffer zone from the pen.

Other states mileage may vary.
