Trimble has released a similiar system.
The systems that Trimble and AutoFarm have use the TrackerIV implement guidance system manufactured by Orthman. They are actually steering the implement, not just shifting the position of the tractor.

I don't feel that the computer can correct fast enough to compensate the vechicle's terrain roll as well as it's own "slosh or whip" for lack of a better word.
You'd be surprised what the higher-end autosteer systems, such as Trimble, AutoFarm, and Beeline (NovAtel powered), have the capability of truly compensating for. |
