Subject: Re: Liqui-grow fertilizers

Good company, good products, a little more expensive compared to dry.

They sell on nutrient availability. Often "around here", they will split a field with their liquid fert and your current program. More often than not, the liquid side wins. How? Faster availability, and read this carefully.... dry isn't all available in the year of application, liquid usually is. So.... they are "doubling up" on the amount of available nutrients by piggybacking on the dry fertilizer. They "win" the first trial and sell you the rest of the farm.

Over time, there isn't much difference in yields but your pocketbook is slightly lighter.

We used dry, then switched to Liqui-Grow for a number of years. We're back to using dry again. We found it wasn't a great as it was sold to be.

At least, that was "here". Someone else's mileage may vary....

The rest of the posters already handled the company history.
