North Central Ohio, across the Corn belt !

When we tried to sell the low salt clears that you could apply directly to the seed, the biggest resistance we met was that they were too cheap. They were chemically identical to the competitor's products and our margins were spectactular compared to conventional starters, we were still half the price and were viewed with suspicion because we were too cheap, and I "obviously didn't believe in my product because I wouldn't drink it". I preferred to work with more conventional products and agronomics. I'm not saying that they're not high quality products that don't have their place, but I couldn't justify them where fertilizer dollars were being stretched thin simply because of the per unit cost. I sold a lot of starters that when applied 2X2 were much, much cheaper and research showed to be quite effective.

Good Post Greg !!!
