Aberdeen MS | Some manufacturers of 10-34-0, as I've been told ( 2 different speakers at seminars not associated with a particular product), utilize phosphoric acid utilized in other manufacturing processes and is sold as a "byproduct" from their industry as the base acid for the making of 10-34-0.
They produced a chart from the state showing the approximate 70% of suppliers having product that did not meet the 10-34-0 requirements, 20% that met, and 10% that exceeded. Usually you get what you pay for.
Smart Stax is not cheap per acre pushing 34K/acre + populations. Especially when one is in the "rape" zone for pricing. If I lived 200 miles further N or NW, I could save 15% on seed cost, just for living in a different place, same bag, same lot, etc. | |
