| It looks like I have 1/2 a bin of silage. When it got cold before christmas, I had frozen the bin off to 25 degrees. It was 17% on top but I felt I could let it freeze and unload now. I noticed this evening when it is -15F that there was steam coming out of the top of the bin. I go up and look and Whoa. It is hot in there. Damn hot (relative to -15) and wet. I will be calling the coop to help me get it empty ASAP. At least what is left.
Does anyone have any advise? Should I try to freeze it now? Don't start the fans until we start unloading whats left? What is going to be left of the bin? Any advise on how to unload without killing myself or destroying the bin?
So much of trusting the air bin people.
Thanks
