Ellsworth IL
It came off a north- south hiway that teed into an east - west hiway , and went almost to the center line . it was 9 at night so pretty low traffic flow at the time . He had taken the time to clean the curve where traffic came off the north -south and turn right toward the west and basically left the ridge where he had originally plowed straight ahead to clean the left turn lane . clear as mud ? LOL in other words, he went straight through the intersection almost to the shoulder across the road , then backed up, cleaned the right turn "lane" backed back up ,Picked up his blade, turned around to the left on the east west hiway and headed back north . Seen them do it there plenty of times, pretty much the same way every time . Just this time the snow drug out longer than before I guess.

My guess is, he just plain didn't see the ridge he left and was probably tired since they had been plowing hard for 3 days and were pretty much done . My only issue with it all was the real quick CYA after the accident.
