Subject: Snow pushing.

Extreme SW Minnesota Iowa border
Since my township doesn't seem to be able to keep up with the snow pushing, I was wondering about building a snow pushing truck. I happen to have a couple of old military 6x6s out in the grove and was thinking bout maybe putting a snow plow on them. Well, here is my delima. I was thinking about just taking the two fron ends, and putting both of them under the truck, so I could crab steer the truck, and wouldn't need to swing the blade so much. But, would that just toss the truck around? Is there anyone out there with experiance in this area? I once ran a case tractor with crab steering that had a blade on it, and I don't think I was to impressed by what it could do. Mabe a guy could get by with a V plow on a truck and just crab steer it for a one way? Or, should I just go back to the original idea, and weld a plow on the front, and start pushing?
