Extreme SW Minnesota Iowa border | I am not sure how most townships are, but out here, if you are traveling on the township road, you assume all liabilty. I am not sure how it works, but, when the towns grades the road, and leaves rocks or anything like that on it, IF you hit it, its your baby.
Its kind of good in a way, because our roads are so bad, you will never see a Sheriff's deputy, or any other law enforcement on them. And that is year round. |
