| I think it would be easy to argue that AGCO's keeping of the orange tractor line was an idea that didn't work. After all, it almost happened back in 2000/2001, but the company gave it one more shot. When something isn't working, you make changes to fix it - that's what AGCO is doing here. You have to remember that the orange tractor sales account for something on the order of magnitude of 1% of the company's total annual sales. Do you think that JD and CNH would continue to offer something that has that low of market share for that long? | |
