DE
We got three 86 series back in 78, 79,and 80. One of the big reasons was much better forward visibility. Never could understand why deere didn't run the exhaust up near the corner post like they finally did on the 60 series. IH engines have been darn good. But deere has far, far superior transmission (power quad vs. the t/a) and better hydraulics pfc. Heck, they had that back on the 4020. IH never caught up until early 80's and still wasn't as good as deere. With hind sight being 20/20, should have gone deere. All three IH cabs have rusted from inside out, never see that on a deere.
