you're right, General. I misread your post. I apologize. Your intelligence isn't in question, but you make statements like "CASE iH had better get it's sh!? together and get its AFS System working", without anything to back them up. What part of the AFS system isn't working? You ordered a guidance-ready MX245, and you can complete it with the Pro600. You're thinking about a 7010, and you can get that guidance-ready and with a Pro600, so what's the issue?

Since you just ordered a 245 AccuGuide ready, then you don't have much of a choice for a monitor to complete it. Can't use the old VT, can't use the 200 if you want to do more than straight AB, or if you're planning to variable-rate, and you'd be foolish to try to use the 200 in a 7010, even if you got it for your 245. (not that it won't work in a 7010, but what a navigational nightmare...)

When you ordered the 245 guidance-ready, what were you planning to complete it with? Maybe you didn't know at that time, but ordered it for the resale value - that's fine. You can complete it with a Trimble Autopilot system and end up with a hybrid system, or you can complete it with the 200 (straight AB only, smaller screen, non-touchscreen, similar in size to the old VT), or you can complete it with the Pro600 - large touchscreen, curves (depending on the machine platform), VRT, mapping, etc.

What specifically do you want to know about the Pro600? What do you want to do with it? Guidance? Planting? Combining? Yield monitoring? Mapping?
