I think that CNH is the most uncooperative company in the industry, but I am 100% behind their position that they will not support 3rd party controllers with their new hardware.   11783 is going to be the way to go for third-party controller integration.   There is a great opportunity for someone to develop 11783 CAN nodes that translate between the CAN messages and the serial output/input of something like Raven 440's.    We are considering adding controller support to Pocket Crops.   If we do so, we will only support 11783 compliant components.   But we would build 11783 nodes for the most popular controllers if the parent companies will not.

But, if CNH is willing to take that position that 11783 is that significant, then the implication is that MapShots should be able to generate 11783 compliant setup and prescriptions files to integrate with the new CNH hardware.    Does the new CNH hardware support 111783 part 10?   If they do, then most of thie conversation is moot.
