southern MN
Syngenta, Pioneer, and Monsanto are the 3 left, aren't they?

How much money is spent on improving yields, how much is spent on buying up the competition, how much is spent on GMO technologies, and how much is spent on legal issues?

It seems to me actual yeild increases must be getting pennies - if that much. A lot of the GMO stuff so far has made raising the crop easier, but hasn't made a better crop - hard to say that right, complicated issue. How much was spent on developing the Terminator gene which didn't work out, how much is spent on inserting traits that don't really apply to your regional needs these days, did RUP didn't actually increase yield potential, just made farming more acres easier.....
