Texas | I think a lot of that boils down to people are invested heavily in whatever cropping system they use.
A big no till guy can easily bust a million on the essentials to do that right. That’s out of reach for most smaller guys.
A mid size guy with no help doesn’t have the time to make 3 tillage passes
A small guy with compact tractor probably can’t pull deep enough to really do full tillage.
The key is doing whatever system you use right. Half donkey either way is usually bad. | |
