| Most problems stem from high speed disks. Quick and shallow so many times in a row is just gonna turn **** to powder. That said, I've seen no-till turn ground to absolute **** with alkali, acres big cattail sloughs that never dry up and have a 30+ foot ring of dead soil around them, lack of crop rotation, and weed (waterhemp, kochia) problems to the point the ground needs major tillage and/or drainage to fix it. No-till only works as great as your drainage does IMO | |
