There's also a filter effect and self selection to consider. There's a lot of people I've met who have said "Oh I see you on Ag talk. I just read it. Fixed the tractor; same problem some guy had five years ago." It's rare to post on everything running perfectly in an industry that needs constant change and improvement.

I'll plagiarize/butcher one of the Hefty boys "I want to know I'm wrong, so I can get better." Much of the "This sucks' is a cry for "what works?" And a warning about what doesn't.

I admit some things really push my emotional buttons. Vandalism, trespassers which are so bold to claim "unowned land, public land". Organized theft routinely hitting other locals and knowing it's only a matter of time and only the thief's choice to hit me or not.
